INHOPE is the international internet hotlines’ network established in 1999 under the European Commission Internet plus program. It coordinates internet hotlines around the world, supporting them in their aim to deal with reports of illegal content to make the internet safer. Through meeting regularly to share knowledge and best practice INHOPE and its member are working to tackle the global problem of illegal content online. At the present time the network represents 35 hotlines from 31 countries around the world.

The key functions of the INHOPE:

  •  Educate and inform policy makers, particularly at the international level.
